How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you find yourself bottling things in, trying to ignore your thoughts/feelings, and need a neutral, outside person to talk to, you are in the right place. If you are open to feedback, support, and accountability, I’m here for you. Try it & quit anytime.
-
What is therapy like?
My therapy style is a one-on-one, talk-style therapy that focuses on your desired transformation. We discuss what is working & what isn’t. We find solutions & apply change. Typically we meet once per week for 50 minutes but that can be modified as needed.
-
How long will this take?
I focus on solutions and goals so you can see progress and end therapy. Each case is unique but we aim to see improvement in 3-6 months. Longer is okay too! This all depends on your attendance, progress in sessions, and what pace is best for you.
-
What are your fees?
If you don’t have (or don’t want to use) insurance, my self-pay fee is $80 per session. Self-pay will give you the most flexibility over your time & treatment. Insurance companies have rules & standards we must follow. I’m happy to discuss this with you more.
-
Do you take insurance?
I accept Aetna, Cigna, Optum, BCBS, Presbyterian & United Healthcare. Medicaid (Presbyterian & BCBS) is only accepted in New Mexico. We will verify your plan before starting services.
-
How do I get started?
The easiest way to get started is using any of the “Let’s Connect!” buttons on my site. You will pick a time for a free 15 minute phone consultation. This will help us make sure we are a good match before starting therapy.
-
Do you provide in-person therapy?
Yes! My physical office is in Las Cruces, NM. Schedule a consultation and ask for in-person appointments (these are typically Mondays, Wednesdays & half-day Fridays). For TX, it is teletherapy only.
